We are proud to present Breath of Life, a 200 Hour Intensive Yoga Teacher Training. Venture with us to the lush mountains of Jarabacoa, located in the Northern Region of Dominican Republic. Spend 28 amazing days bathed in the wonders of nature; learning the fundamentals of asana, pranayama, philosophy, anatomy, meditation, chakras, aryuveda, hands on adjustments and public speaking skills.
This training is a collaboration between Dou Yoga, Hosh Yoga, and Suryaside Yoga studios. Our dedicated team of passionate, skilled, teachers will lead you through a daily sunrise asana practice, lectures, and practice teaching sessions throughout the week. On Saturdays, you will have the option to sign up for several excursions including white water rafting, hiking to gorgeous waterfalls, zip lining, obstacle courses, butterfly sanctuaries and more! You will also have the option to enjoy your leisure time in the luxurious villa we will be staying in for the duration of the trip.
All meals will be provided for by our loving team of cooks who are ready to meet any dietary restrictions necessary. Transportation will also be provided and from the airport and for all the excursions as well! Flights are not included.
In the spirit of karma yoga we will also be collaborating with a local non profit called El Techo that works on building homes for impoverished people in the region. There will also be a scholarship slot for a local teacher that will in exchange be providing free classes for locals for a period of 6 months.
If you have any questions, please direct them to email@example.com.
We are excited to offer TWO scholarship positions for this teacher training. Participants from the New York metro area are eligible to apply. We are offering a reduced rate of 50% off of the single rooms or $2000 for the shared rooms.
By participating in the scholarship you will become part of the "I Can Breathe" program through Hosh Yoga to teach at the Jacob Riis Settlement Housing in Queensbridge for the 6 months.
